Sophia-Louise von Wrangell is a poly faceted artist. Since 1975 she is a photographer, with works in collections in South America, Europe, and the US.
From Portraiture to Subconscious Painting, and from Cyber Art to Moving Paintings, Sophia experiments, mixes media, and creates new forms of artistic expression. Photography is almost always integrated in her Cyber Art and Multimedia.

May 2008 Sophia’s Moving Painting “Spiral” is part of “The Strip Cult” theater play by Mike Z.
April 2007. “Sophia’s Galaxy” has come to life, offering Art for your Heartbrain.
October 6, 2006 Participated in Arts Walk, Olympia in two venues: Swing and Plenty’s
December 2004 created a new art company, “Sophia’s Galaxy”.
September 23rd 2004 Participated in the Bindu Nair Guild auction in favor of the Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
April 25th, 2004 Sophia participated in the “II Salon of Hispano-American Painters”, a national exhibit of Hispanic artists in New Jersey.
The booklet that accompanied the exhibit describes her this way:
“Colombian artist, film director, author, consultant, photographer, and a teacher with a passion for innovation. With Photography, Sophia began academic studies in 1975; followed by painting and sculpting in 1977. She has works in collections in South America, Europe, and the US. She has a Masters from the University of Theater and Cinematographic Arts ”Ion Luca Caragiale”. Her written works include television, films, literature and poetry and non-fiction. She is also a teacher and consultant of the Art World. Her long trajectory has made her establish her name and talent in several countries. This Renaissance Woman is a great example for the Latin artists.”
